Experience

Katie is a board-certified holistic nutritionist who specializes in women’s hormonal health. In her work for The Healthy, she emphasizes the role of nutrition in stress reduction, chronic disease prevention, and managing women’s health issues ranging from fertility to painful periods and PCOS. Katie writes from her own holistic healing experience as well, such as her six-year fertility journey and surprise twin pregnancy at 41. She also contributes to Mind Body Green and She Knows and has been a featured nutrition and women’s health expert for NBC News, Bustle, Reader’s Digest, and Woman’s World Magazine. Katie published a recipe book as well, Happy Healthy Hormones, and runs a private practice in California.
